Andrew Shelley is a London based artist, still living and working in Winchmore Hill and a studio in Archway, North London. He has had limited formal training past Foundation course and considers himself mostly self taught. He identifies the early influence of his grandfather, himself a keen draughtsman, in teaching him to have confidence with a pencil and much of his current subject matter comes from a Christian upbringing and later a Hindu marriage, creating both conflict and synthesis in his work.
